Love is Worth It, Save The Marriage Today

A marriage is a union of two individuals who are in love and are both at the stage in their lives where they are ready to commit to the next step of their relationship. Ironic enough, marriage used to be a once in a lifetime experience for many in the past but the trend is now drastically changing (cue: Britney Spears and her marriage that lasted a grand total of fifty five hours). The holy matrimony is now no longer viewed as the next wonderful step in life but as a commitment as well as a burden to those who are not physically, mentally and financially ready- which also makes them even more ill prepared when want to save the marriage.

The biggest contributing factor in a failed marriage is not due to lack of chemistry, but rather, lack of communication itself as you find both of you gradually getting used enough to each other, becoming comfortable enough to take each other for granted. Pretty soon, you’ll find yourself coming home to the one person in the whole world who can’t understand your needs, and likewise you will also be struggling to find common interests as well. Needless to say, the absence of communication brings tidings of early marriage death in the household.

The remedy to this problem is that when you find yourself at that situation, you need to accept that people change, and so will your spouse. The key is in rediscovering your beloved before you can fall in love with him or her again. Make the commitment to make time for each other and talk, wine and dine together just like how young couples do so that you will remember and learn new things about each other.

A marriage may also fail due to lack of interest from both parties. Simply put, both parties in this scenario have simply lost the feeling of hopeful young love. To save your marriage, you have to bring him/her back to the sweetest memories that are shared by the both of you as, after all, a marriage begins with a promise and a vow to stand by your better half’s side for better or for worse, until death do you part.

The great thing about a troubled marriage is that you may actually find yourself enjoying so much more freedom which also equates to plenty more time to indulge yourself in other interests as well. You might not be in the mood to wear bright colours or throw a party, but you surely need to find some way to channel that depressive energy into productivity, be it by baking cakes or planting flowers in your backyard. After all, you will never be capable of controlling how your spouse may feel about the situation, but you certainly can determine how you can feel about yourself, so choose to be contented, if nothing else.

Make it a pleasant encounter between the both of you and keep flaring up to a record minimum level as when you think about it from a third point of view, there is simply nothing to be gained about from shouting and breaking things. We suggest that you try negotiations instead, as you will be surprised how easily spouses can be won over with lingerie, a home cooked meal and flowers. So if you really want to save the marriage, do your research and strategize then make sure you go all out to win back the heart of the person whom you used to be so crazy about.

Don’t add to the statistic. Save The Marriage!
